Treatment of back and neck problems: most health benefits
We see that chiropractic treatments are increasingly being reimbursed by health insurers. Although it should be even better! Especially when you consider that chiropractic is the most cost-effective treatment method, especially for back and neck problems. (Nelson et al., 2003)
Chiropractic care is covered under the supplementary insurance package and is therefore not subject to the mandatory deductible of €385.00. This means you will receive the reimbursement as stated in your health insurance policy. It's important that your chiropractor is a member of the NCA (Dutch Chiropractors Association), registered with the SCN (Stichting Chiropractie Nederland) and has a AGB code. For most insurers, these conditions are necessary for reimbursement. In our practice, you will only be treated by officially licensed and registered chiropractors.
